Around 92,000 participants aged 40 to 73 within the UK wore activity trackers for per week to measure how much they moved and slept. Over the next 7 years, 3,080 of them died, most of them from heart problems or cancer.
As expected, the participants with the bottom risk of death also exercised probably the most and slept “normally” (6 to eight hours per night, as defined within the study).
