While most individuals recuperate inside per week, some develop a form of kidney failure called hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS). This condition can occur in people of any age but is commonest in children under 5 and older adults. It is characterised by easy bruising, paleness, and decreased urine output. People who experience these symptoms should seek emergency medical attention immediately.”
